All Kids All Kids health Care ![]() What is All Kids? The State of Illinois has recently approved a complete health care program, proposed by the Governor, for all children. Illinois is the first state in the nation to ensure that every child, regardless of medical conditions or income, has access to health care. All Kids covers all the health care a child may need. All Kids pays for doctor visits, hospital visits, dental care, vision care, prescription drugs, medical equipment, and mental health services. How does it work? All Kids will cost most families a lot less than private insurance. For example, a family of four that earns $50,000 per year may pay approximately $40 per month for each child plus a $10 co-pay for each doctor visit. A family of four that earns $29,000 per year has no monthly payment and pays a $2 co-pay for each doctor visit. All Kids has an annual limit on the total co-pay most families have to pay for their children's healthcare. Total costs for each family vary by income. Who is eligible? Children age 18 or younger who live with their families in Illinois and who need health insurance can get All Kids. How do I enroll my child? 1. A completed pre-registration form may be used to start your All Kids application. You can apply or download an application by accessing the All Kids website. 2.
